Across our Federation we want to build and maintain strong partnerships between our staff and our families as we know this is so important in helping children to achieve and to enjoy learning. We are determined to create an inclusive culture of learning where all children will be challenged in their thinking, to achieve to the best of their abilities and strive to become lifelong learners. Research has consistently shown that active parental interest makes a great deal of difference to how well children do at school; most parents will not be surprised by this! Parents can help more effectively if they know what our schools are trying to achieve and what they can do to offer support. Our home-school agreement provides a framework for the development of good partnerships. The contents of the agreement sets out the role of the school, parents and pupils in this vital partnership.
