The school always aims to respond to all communications respectfully and expediently. We will usually respond to any email (or other) enquiries within 2-3 working days. In some cases, this may be an initial acknowledgement of the email if the school feels that further time is needed to respond. (This may include, for example, where a member of staff works part-time or the school needs additional time to explore or investigate an incident/allegation, or where staffing levels are affected by staff absence). If this is the case, the school will always endeavour to keep the person who initiated contact updated with approximate timescales.

For some concerns/complaints made, there is a separate process. In short, this covers complaints around admissions, statutory assessments of special educational needs, exclusions and matters likely to require a child protection investigation.
