Swans Y4
Welcome to Swans Class!
We are Swans Class, a small, friendly group of 16 Year 4 children taught by Miss Mowle and Mrs Jeffries. At Bishop Sutton, every child is encouraged to do their best. We show this each day by working hard, looking after each other and following our school rule to be kind, safe and responsible.
We love reading, whether on our own, with a partner or altogether as a class. We like sharing stories and recommending books to each other. In writing and maths, we work hard to build our skills and are proud to take on new challenges. We also learn a wide range of other subjects across the curriculum, where we work as a team, get creative and try new things.
In Swans Class, our positive choices are recognised with Dojos and behaviour cards, and we celebrate our successes together. We all have classroom jobs that we take pride in, helping our classroom to run smoothly and feel welcoming for everyone. This year, we have already been on a trip to the Roman Baths and have created our own mosaic designs linked to our Romans topic. Later in the year, we are really looking forward to a two-night residential visit to Charterhouse, where we will work as a team, try new challenges and grow in confidence.
We are proud of what we have achieved so far and are eager to continue learning and growing together.
