Welcome to Swans Class!

Our class teacher is Miss Gilmour, and we are a friendly, supportive and hardworking class who are always excited to learn new things. We are working incredibly hard to become independent learners, taking responsibility for our learning and trying our best even when things feel challenging.

Swans love anything creative! We enjoy expressing our ideas through art, design, writing and imaginative activities. We also love sharing our achievements and celebrating each other’s successes. We are a caring class who look out for one another, and there is always someone ready to lend a helping hand.

This year, we will be working hard to develop our times tables skills as we prepare for the Year 4 Multiplication Tables Check. We will practise regularly and encourage each other to become more confident and fluent with our multiplication facts.

We are also proud to demonstrate our school rules and class values throughout the year. In particular, we will be developing our courage by having a go, making mistakes and trying again, and showing curiosity by asking questions, exploring new ideas and being excited about our learning.
