Swallows Y5

We are a class of 25 pupils, and our teacher is Miss Nash. In Swallow Class, we pride ourselves on being kind, safe, and responsible. It’s important to us that we set a good example for the rest of the school and act as positive role models. We enjoy being friendly and welcoming to everyone who joins our classroom community.

In our classroom, we have a marble jar that we try our best to fill up in order to earn a whole class treat. We earn marbles for lovely lining up, wonderful walking, setting good examples to others and for working hard. We are all working on our presentation to try and earn our pen licences.

This year, we have already enjoyed an amazing trip to London to visit the House of Parliament. It was fascinating to learn about how laws are made! We also have many exciting trips ahead, including seeing a pantomime, attending a Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra performance, and our two-night residential to Charterhouse- an adventure we can’t wait for!

In Swallow Class, we take responsibility for our classroom to ensure it runs smoothly and is welcoming for everyone. We all have class jobs that rotate regularly, giving everyone a chance to try different roles. Our class representatives for the school council are Arlo and Lyla.

We always strive to work hard and do our best in everything we do. We are proud of all that we have achieved so far and look forward to an exciting year ahead!
