Meet the teacher - Miss Nash

We are a Year 5 class of 29 children. Our teacher is called Miss Nash, and our teaching assistant is called Mrs Whitcher. We pride ourselves on always being kind, safe and responsible. As a class, we are very friendly and welcoming to everyone.  

In our classroom, we have a marble jar that we try our best to fill up in order to earn a whole class treat. We earn marbles for lining up perfectly, setting good examples to others and for working hard.  

This year, we are going to learn about lots of interesting things, such as Slums, Biomes, Victorians, The Benin Kingdom, Forces, Space and lots more! We are all working hard on our presentation to try and earn our pen licences. Later in the year, we are also going to go on a two-night residential to Charterhouse. We can’t wait! 

This year we have taken on responsibility within the classroom to ensure that it runs efficiently and is a welcoming working environment. We all have class jobs, and regularly change them, so that we can have a go at different roles.
