Wrens Y3

We are Wrens class. We are a friendly and enthusiastic group of 31 taught by Miss Gilmour. We would describe ourselves best as being friendly, playful and curious. At Bishop Sutton, every child is encouraged to do their best. We show this each day by working hard, looking after one another and following our school rule to be kind, safe and responsible. We are rewarded for our good behaviour with class treat, where we get to chose an activity for the morning. We work towards our class treat with our marble jar; this encourages us all to make sure we are doing our best!

Across the curriculum, we enjoy getting creative, working as a team and trying new things. This year, we’re discovering fascinating topics like the Stone Age in History and plants and animals in Science, which means lots of investigations! We enjoy writing and creating our own stories, inspired by class books such as ‘The BFG’ or ‘The search for the giant arctic jellyfish’.

We all support each other and help our classroom environment by taking on our own class jobs. This allows us to make sure we each have a responsibility for our room and that it remains a positive and welcoming space for everyone. We are proud of all we have achieved so far and are looking forward to continuing our learning journey together.
