Welcome to Ducklings class. We are a friendly and happy class of fourteen children. Our teachers are Mrs Alison Sharp and Mrs Jacqui Perry. Mrs Jo Rogers and Miss Jennie Benson also support us on Wednesday afternoons and Thursday afternoons.
We enjoy playing in our large and airy classroom where we have access to our own enclosed outdoor learning area.
In our classroom we have a cosy reading area where we like to share our favourite stories, a fun role-play area where we can dress up and use our imaginations, a construction and maths area where we like to design, build and problem-solve, a painting station to create our own artworks, an investigation table to explore new ideas and a small world area to act out different stories.
Outside we have another role-play area which is themed around the books we are reading, a messy mud kitchen, a nature area, sensory tub and a large loose parts building and sports area. We also love playing parachute games and climbing on our outdoor wooden assault course.
Every week we visit our onsite Forest School where get to explore the natural world around us and take part in exciting activities such as making our own perfume from natural materials and building dens to hide from the Big Bad Wolf!
